Hi, I’m Leila, and I’m a Freelance Marketing Consultant - passionate about working with property clients and creative agencies to understand their strategic ambitions, helping them to deliver tangible growth.

Over the past 17 years, I've honed my skills in client services at leading network agencies (WPP and Omnicom), working with renowned brands such as Diageo, British Airways, Volkswagen, Camelot (National Lottery), and John Lewis.

In the last 8 years, my focus has been firmly within the property sector, where I have successfully developed and executed marketing strategies and campaigns for prominent clients including SEGRO, Mileway, Bloom, Berkeley Homes, Landsec, Loop Asset Management and Mulberry Developments.

My deep understanding of the property landscape, combined with my diverse marketing and agency management expertise, makes me a strong partner at operational, strategic and tactical levels.

Key Achievements.

    • Helped Bloom to launch a brand identity which created cut-through, and positioned them as the fresh challenger within their sector. Bloom went on to win Best Commercial Property Newcomer at the 2023 Property Week Awards.

    • Consolidated and evolved Loop’s brand identity, delivering a suite of high quality and consistent assets for future use. Ran a brand strategy workshop and delivered a set of recommendations to define and evolve their brand positioning.

    • Delivered new social media assets for Loop, which gave them their highest levels of engagement to date on LinkedIn.

    • 2021 PMA Winner (Property Marketing Awards) for Best Marketing Campaign – Industrial and Logistics for SEGRO’s subversive ‘Shedspotters’ campaign.

    • Worked on strategy, concept and delivery of multiple marketing campaigns for SEGRO’s East Plus portfolio of 1.4M sq ft across 86 acres, helping to build brand awareness, engage agents and secure tenants.

    • Delivered extended agent marketing campaign for Landsec’s Dashwood office building in Liverpool Street, helping to secure near 100% occupancy across all floors.

    • Responsible for key hires within Sectorlight (agency), which enabled the company to grow and improve operations internally, boosting the resource across client services to improve output for clients and profitability for the agency.

    • Worked with Proven Partners to review and optimise their internal structures, processes and documentation, as well as support with their new business enquiries and developing partnerships within the wider sector. This enabled the agency to scale up following a period of rapid growth and commercial success.

    • Led the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) committee at J2, driving policy change at executive level (e.g. recruitment, better representation in creative work delivered), as well as activities and initiatives internally throughout the year (International Women’s Day, Black History Month).
